Parent Center & Volunteers

The Parent Center is located in Room 17

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm

Visits from members of the community are always welcome at Emelita. Anyone entering or leaving Emelita during the school day must go through the office.In order to minimize disruption to the instructional program and to ensure a safe campus, we do ask visitors to adhere to the following procedures:

If you would like to volunteer you must be cleared through the district first. You can begin the process at district's Volunteer Management System at the following link:

 

Once cleared and before going to the classroom, sign in the visitor’s log in the main office. Wear your visitor’s badge in an easily visible location.

Return to the office to sign out as you leave.

 

Once a month on a Friday we have Coffee with the Principal, during this time you may receive the latest information from and the School District. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, share concerns/ideas and interact with other parents and the principal.

 The Parent Center is open every morning at 8:00 am. There are many projects that require parent volunteers.

​

We encourage you to come in, network with other parents, and provide much-needed service to our school.

​

There are excellent parent resources available and we will begin our series of parent education workshops early in the school year.
